Rock-it get US TV crew home from the Ryder Cup
When specialist charter carrier D B Air was faced
with 1500 kilos of too much baggage, they knew who
to call. They called Rock-it to arrange collection of what turned
out to be U.S. TV broadcast equipment returning after shooting
the 2002 Ryder Cup at the famous Belfry Golf Course in the UK.
It was needed back in the USA for another important assignment.
Once the call was logged from Birmingham Airport, UK at 11:00
am our team spun into action and arranged for urgent pick up of
the equipment. It was collected and transferred to our Heathrow
office for the usual checks before being delivered for the New
York flight with minutes to spare for a 6.00 pm close out. The
flight departed at 8:00 pm and was in New York 10:50 pm same day
local New York time. Rock-it London and Rock-it New York
really made it happen!

Surviving TV at Christmas
We received a call from someone in need of urgent assistance around
Christmas 2001. With approximately 10 days to spare, we were asked
if we could arrange for an urgent shipment of approximately 20
tonnes to a secret location. It was the entire production for
a popular TV programme that had people glued to their sets to
see who would be the last remaining survivor.
Needless to say, we succeeded in delivering
this urgent consignment on time to its secret South American location,
to the total satisfaction of the customer, in spite of Christmas
backlogs.

Advertising Cuba - good to the
last drop!
When a famous producer of Malt Whisky wanted a great location
to film for their next advertising campaign, the agency chose
Cuba. They also chose us to ship the TV recording equipment and
sets because they knew they could rely on our skill and expertise.
We'd helped them previously on another campaign for an equally
famous drink, popular in Ireland. Cheers guys!
