Rock-it Cargo:
theatres & orchestras
Shipping theatrical sets, stage equipment,
shows and orchestras on tour is a specialist skill of Rock-it
Cargo's performing arts services. Theatre props, sets, lighting,
instruments and all manner of support services can be packed,
loaded and shipped to the next stop on tour.
From arranging full cargo charters for the Los
Angeles Philharmonic to getting a tympany drum from London to
New York and back to Glasgow on an incredibly tight deadline for
the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Rock-it Cargo now count on an
increasing number of prestigious international orchestras as their
clients.
Close co-ordination with orchestra management,
travel agencies and our team of partner agents world-wide ensures
that classical concert touring is becoming an increasing part
of our business. Co-ordinating the arrival of shipments with the
arrival of orchestra personnel, supervision of pallet-builds and
local handling, specialised stowing of certain instruments; all
specific requirements for orchestras on tour.
Rock-it Cargo will work with orchestra personnel
and promoters closely to ensure all these unique requirements
are met to the customers satisfaction.

Cirque Du Soleil
Working in partnership with the Rock-it
Cargo US office, the unique Cirque Du Soleil extravaganza, including
a huge performing arena, arrived by ocean freight and was trucked
to Battersea Power Station in London for erection on the South
Bank.
Following their sell-out season, we
arranged for the entire show to be flown back to Miami by air
charter in order to meet yet another tight deadline.
