Star Trek - The Adventure
Even Scotty can't fix everything. When the "transporter room"
developed a fault, he had to find a way to get his show to the
UK in double quick time. He picked up his communicator and called
his pals at Rock-it. His call came through to us on Thursday 20th
September.
"Could we move 120 forty foot containers
from Hamburg, Germany to Doncaster, UK within a week?"
"Sure, no problem"
Our man in Hamburg co-ordinated the moves from
storage by road and barge to the port for final delivery.
All containers were shipped and delivered on time
to Doncaster, UK by Thursday 26th.
There were also 4 forty foot containers from Dusseldorf needed
for Wednesday 25th. These were trucked to Rotterdam and shipped
to the port. We delivered these on time, Wednesday at 09:00 hrs.
Our man on site in Doncaster co-ordinated all road haulage –
port to door. We provided cranes on site to ground the containers
for delivery according to priority specified by client.

As part of a shipment from GE Energy to U-Tapao airport in Thailand,
Rock-it Cargo provided a specialist trucker using a 9 axled trailer
to carry a total load weight of over 108,000 kilos to Stansted
airport in the UK.... with police escort.

container to Russia with love?
We used an ATA Carnet, met the truck at all the borders, cleared
it through and provided an escort to Moscow Inland Clearance Depot.
The container was cleared to the venue and stayed on-site, guarded
by security (arranged by us). Then it was back to the UK - just
like that!
